Garden plants that like tea leaves

I'm a new follower! I'm going to try and follow some other blogs also.

Garden plants that like tea leaves by Ani

My mom was a huge tea lover. When she passed away, I found some photos of some plants she grew that I like. She had some tea plants in pots and the pots where quite small. She also loved to use pots in her garden. I would think that they would work good in pots with the exception of cactus. But she did like cactus. I'm thinking of getting some plants and experimenting.

Hi Ani,I like cacti for their architectural look, but have found that they don't do well in dry conditions. I live in the Southwest and use a misting system for ours, but they would need something like a deep pot that is half buried or you could use a pot that had a dome on top with a reservoir. Hope you'll post more on your blog! I am always looking for information on teaplants and a new tea drinker! ~Joanne

We have had record rainfall. This is the last month of the 2017 rainy season. This is a reminder of how quickly it can change from one season to the next. I hope everyone is ok and our gardens are thriving. There's a lot to do. The time is now.

About Me

I live in the woods, just outside of a small town in Southern Oregon.

This is a record of my year-long effort to become self sufficient through my garden and tea. I would like to share what I've learned along the way. I'll share what I do, what I don't do and how you can adapt to your own situation. Tea will be a very minor part of the focus of this blog.

Feel free to leave me comments. We can all learn from each other's experiences.

Thank you for joining me on this tea journey. It's about to begin!
