My meyer lemon tree will not produce fruit.

I have a meyer lemon tree on my patio that should produce fruit, and yet it is a very stunted one and does not bear any fruit. I don't know what to do to help it produce more fruit. I know what the symptoms are when it comes to other fruits and what those symptoms mean, but my tree just does not have those symptoms. It does not display any kind of disfigurement, and it has strong healthy-looking green leaves.

My first instinct is to repot it into a much bigger pot and go to the garden center and buy more fertilizer. But I'm afraid that just because the symptoms of meyer lemon fruitlessness are not apparent, this is not going to help my tree produce fruit.

Where else could I go to learn more about meyer lemon tree care and what else I might be able to do to help it produce fruit?
